The First Nanning China International Watercolor Invitational Exhibition
The Nanning China International Watercolor Exhibition, hosted by Guangxi Arts Institute of China, which was also held by Fine Arts College of Guangxi Arts Institute, Association of Guangxi Watercolorists, Vienna Contemporary Art Exchange, International Office of Guangxi Arts Institute, and the Gallery of Lijiang School of Painting. The Exhibition aims to build the platform for Asian-Pacific Chinese watercolor artists . The host, Guangxi Arts Institute of China, located in the capital city Nanning of Guangxi Province, is a top institute training artists in southern China. Known as a Greentown, Nanning is the permanent home of Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), connecting China and Southeast Asian countries.
In the exhibition, there are two hundred and fifty-three watercolor works by 98 painters from 38 countries displayed at the exhibition.
Demonstrations by Master watercolor artist attracted a huge group of audience. They included Atanur Dogan for Canada, Miran Kim from Korea, Stanislaw Zoladzoar from Sweden, Elena Bazanova from Russia etc.
